L'Hirondelle is set in the rolling Limousin countryside overlooking a wooded river valley. We are only 2 kms from the pretty market town of St Mathieu, which provides full amenities including a petrol station, banks and a supermarket.

Our courses are designed to allow those new to guitar playing to improve their knowledge and technique, without pressure, in a relaxed setting where individual skills can be developed at your own pace. By combining small group sessions (maximum 4 students) with one-to-one tuition over five full days, you'll cover essentials such as:
• Stringing, tuning and maintaining your guitar
• Using your amplifier (electric or electro-acoustic)
• Reading tablature and chord diagrams
• Chord formation
• Picking and strumming
