Just 2kms from the village of St Mathieu, L'Hirondelle sits in the Haute Vienne countryside of the western Limousin and offers comfortable, en-suite bed & breakfast accommodation or self-catering holidays in a beautifully converted barn. This unspoilt region of France is ideal for experiencing the outdoors, whether it be walking, fishing, cycling or simply enjoying the scenery and fresh air whilst having a picnic on the banks of one of the regions many lakes. Limoges airport is just 40 minutes drive away and you can be in Limoges city centre in less than an hour. Similarly, Angoulême and its airport (in the Charente) & Perigueux (in the Dordogne) are both less than an hour away making this location ideal for exploring all three regions. |

Beginners' Residential Guitar Courses
Come to France and learn the basics of guitar playing in a friendly and informal atmosphere. You'll be on holiday so relax and enjoy yourself!
Our courses are designed to allow those new to guitar playing to improve their knowledge and technique, without pressure, in a relaxed setting where individual skills can be developed at your own pace. By combining small group sessions (maximum 4 students) with one-to-one tuition over five full days, you'll cover essentials such as:
• Stringing, tuning and maintaining your guitar
• Using your amplifier (electric or electro-acoustic)
• Reading tablature and chord diagrams
• Chord formation
• Picking and strumming
